ello there, it's been a while since I updated (I hate updating actually) :P

Can anyone recommend any good webcomics? I've been making practice comics lately and it's been hard to find any really good ones (though I did manage to find a few) Prefereabley not any fantasy or romance but if it's good it's good.

I'm surprised that there are actually a lot of good movies coming out right now. I have to see Around The World, Resident Evil (though it will probably be disappointing) and definitely the new Wes Anderson movie The Darjeeling Limited <3

A Plague of Art

Wow, time for my art show update. I just want to say that it was AMAZING and so crowded! I was so surprised at the traffic the Danforth was getting and how so many people were talking about my work...
The show was called Fall Back and had work by Nathan Anderson, Doug Campbell, Bruce Rinnert (curator), Matt Smith, Cherlyn Wilcox and myself, the only high school artist. Bruce was there and he's the one that approached me about my work and offered to let me be in the show. Nate was there too and I loved his work so it was cool talking to him and trying to put up my crafty business cards, it was so flattering that he wanted to by 2 of my pieces too :'>
Three or four pieces sold, I kept having to go back and scribble out 'not for sale' because I kept getting approached by people who wanted to by them or suggested I had to sell them all.. it was great seeing people's reactions and listening to their opinions when the didn't know I was the artist :P

I've been home for a couple days, nothing much happened just bonded and had a good time with my sister. My real news is that at the end of next month, I'll have an exhibit at the Danforth gallery here in town. I always thought it only displayed hick Montana art but was very surprised to see just a couple days ago that it had very contemporary and interesting pieces so I'm excited to be part of it, especially for the last art walk of the year. It will start on September 28th so if you're every in Livingston Montana (sorry if you ever are :P) stop by and see my art :>

I bought a moleskin sketch book. It is good to me :> So finally you get a small sketch dump.

A failed fanart for muura ;_; I think I somehow got chocolate on it? :S

A commission for luvmuskhunysukl. I edited it a bit after I scanned it, like shading and more detail, but forgot to scan again before I sent it. Oh well. (thanks again dear <3 )

Fanart I did for Fsc of her comic MuZz. It's such a great feeling when one of your idols respond to something you've done. (She didn't for this one probably because she's busy, but did for a fanart I did almost a year ago)

And look at this monstrosity I sculpted! My hand is much to shakey.

In newish news I've been diligently working on a new comic project (yaaya) No actual inked pages, just detailed plot development, character design and page thumbs.. I don't know if I'll have anything from it to show you but if I do I you'll know ;)

Also I'll be leaving on Monday to visit my sister for a week to bond and play We Love Katamari and be weird. <3 funtimes

I'm really tired of most people complaining that most art (mostly on dA) is shit. It really isn't, it's just that what is very easily accessible and requires no effort to find is poor quality or yes, shitty. Don't expect masterpieces to come popping out of your monitor and start rubbing their crotches in your face. I can go through countless pages of brilliant art every day because I simply know where to look for it.

Anyways, I'm comicing here's some crap

Yes, I'm not very productive, I don't actually sketch or doodle very much, just try and focus on finished pieces which probably isn't good :(

P.S. I quit my job because I suck

I owe you guys a sketch dump soon.. tons of things that i've just been leaving unfinished and an explanation on why I've been gone so long D:

School's been out since the 8th but my free time has been beaten and abused by drivers ed and work. I work at The Bistro from 5 until 10 or 11.. the pizza! oh god so much pizza but it's fun and they feed me ;D Plus I only work three days a week. Then i get Wednesday(fuck I hate this word) off to finish last minute drivers ED crap which i have thursday and friday.. and my final drive is Saturday. BLAH. Can't wait until July.. but then i'll be making food for all the tourists.. boo go back too our own shitty state! :[

I got it done on Saturday and at the risk of sounding like a drooling moron girl, lets say it was worth 40 bucks to get a hole in myself with a hot guy three inches from my face :B I also got a small spike to replace it when it heals.

So lately I've decided to get my ass into gear and signed up for (and got into) drivers ed, applied for a job (with an interview tomorrow), got out of my art rut and started tons of pics plus revisited old neglected ones. The only down side is since there's only about 10 days of school left(which is good!) and I've been slacking off on school work :P (oooh welll)

I drew this just for the sake of doing that cool hair do ;D Didn't really want to upload it to dA

Haven't updated in a long time, only because my life is very uninteresting, but right now I'm in a horribly foul mood. Being a girl sucks, my scanner fucking sucks, my paints suck, I SUCK D:

My scanner broke or is just not working on THIS day of all days and it just topped off all the other shit that's making me mad. Sorry for not warning you of a small rant :0

Changed my layout to one of my older pics (if you're on windows it'll look like crap) and I bought a delicious new earthbound sketchbook. It's my recycled loove.

And I will draw more on another day. Other than that I don't really have any new stuff though i've been stirring with ideas. Resetless!

I actually have news! My neighbor has helped me out a lot with art supplies and support and he has ties to the Danforth art gallery here in town which is one of the nicer galleries here. I think the director caught interest in my work and so we had dinner and I showed him some more of it and we discussed me having my own show! It would be around june and if I had a lot of work in it he said it could be a solo show. All I have to do now is call up the owner and etc..

;_; I'm only almost 16 but I'm really lucky because art is the only thing I've ever wanted to do.

I can see my dream life playing out right now ~.~
When i'm older, say out of high-school, i move to a really artsy town (Seattle?, L.A? who knows) but there's old houses that have been tagged by artists before me and there are abandoned houses with peeling victorian wallpaper, where the light shines through the windows and open doors. I'm in my own little apartment, perhaps i dragged along a friend of mine, or met someone, and i have my own art studio in it with paints and canvas in one big room, where i paint on the walls too. I sew all my own clothes and i've chopped off all my long hair, so that i can wear different wigs on different days from a big collection of them i got off ebay and quirky stores. I shave my eyebrows off sometimes so i can draw them on in swirly patterns and if i have a job, i work at a tattoo parlor, or maybe a clothing shop. I go to flee markets and thrift shops and score clothes and long stockings and sometimes sell my art at the flee market. I meet all my favorite artists and dA friends, because i still keep up a steady internet life and i live happily ever after. XD <3

I really love it and the small picture that was inclosed of a panda coming out of a teapot!♥♥

I had a long week off and spent it at my friends house that i hadn't seen in a while, watching a Lost marathon and The Prestige (good movie but hard to follow). I'm sucked into Lost now so i'll have to watch the rest of the episodes on youtube :B

Hello again my lovelies, sorry i'm quite scarce on updates, i have a very dull life :D I have news though, there is a coffee shop here and i talked to the manager today and he said that i can show my art there. So it will be my first 'art show' sort of thing :3 If your ever in Livingston Montana come to Chadz coffee shop. hohoho

Well hello everybody, school has been going rather well, except for my math (but i won't go into that ;_; boohoo) lots of homework but it's do-able. There's been lots of fires burning around the area, though not actually in town so it's extremely smokey here and theres some ash in the air, if the ash was heavier or looked like snow, our down town would sort of look like the one in Silent Hill *_* if you haven't seen it yet you should, it's good weather you've played the game or not and on that note.. go play the game! XD
The TV says i'd be surprised how much fiber i'm missing in my diet D: it's just what i've been missing!
